Wellington Senior Care

Wellington Senior Care

Program Description

The mission at Wellington Senior Care (WSC) is to provide luxurious living accommodations and excellent care for individuals who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). This will be accomplished by providing care 24 hours a day / 7 days a week and hiring highly capable, well trained staff with a heart for caring for others.

Wellington Senior Care (WSC) offers programs and services that cater to individuals that have sustained traumatic brain injuries. The facility accepts male and female adults, age 18 and above. WSC caters to residents who are challenged with ailments such as physical handicaps, alzheimer’s, traumatic brain injuries and other factors that impair the individual’s ability to live without assistance. Our programs focus on maximizing the resident’s capability, while improving their condition. These individuals will be provided with around the clock care from qualified caregivers that will meet all the needs described in the resident’s assessment plan.

The goal of the program at WSC is to provide a home-like atmosphere to individuals in need of assistance with their ADL’s. WSC feels that this population prefers a setting that resembles their home – as opposed to big-box institutional facilities. Our program is intended to provide long-term care to this target population as they continue to age happily and peacefully. Once a resident enters our facility, our goal is to make the resident and their family feel confident that they are being cared for adequately.

WSC intends to utilize community resources to enhance the lives of our residents. WSC recognizes that there can be varying religious beliefs of our residents and plan to be cognizant of each individual’s religious backgrounds. We will take special care to ensure that our residents can practice their religious beliefs freely, without feeling isolated or coerced. WSC will also utilize other resources in the community such as schools, sorority organizations, and adult day program facilities to ensure our residents remain active and engaged.
