March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. Throughout this month, BIAMI has various activities, events, initiatives, and special programming across the state. A few notable events lined up include our Unmasking Brain Injury display making its way to the state capitol, The Detroit Red Wings and Grand Rapids Griffins both holding Brain Injury Awareness Nights at their games, and free moving screening of Head Games in Howell, Traverse City, and Farmington.
For more information on what is going on throughout the month, view our Brain Injury Awareness Month page.
BIAMI is actively working to help de-stigmatize brain injury, empower those who have survived, and promote the breadth and depth of support and rehabilitative care that is available in Michigan. The Not Alone campaign also educates the general public about the incidence of brain injury and the needs of people with brain injuries and their families.
