Comparative Effectiveness of Rehabilitation Interventions for Persons with TBI: Update on Findings



The benefit of acute rehabilitation has been the target of research for several decades, but identification of the effective ingredients has remained elusive.  The TBI – Comparative Effectiveness Research study is using a research methodology based on patient and clinician input as well as advanced statistical methods to compare the effectiveness of rehabilitation interventions.  The preliminary findings for the comparative effectiveness of different therapeutic approaches and of different modes of treatment delivery on participation, function, and subjective well-being will be presented.
