Annual Conference

The Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s Annual Conference has become the place to be each fall! We are very proud that this has become the largest brain injury conference in America! Our Conference Planning Committee has volunteered well over a thousand hours in preparation for this event. This conference is held in conjunction with the Michigan Brain Injury Providers Council.

Conference Information: Join us at the largest brain injury conference. The purpose of this two-day conference is to provide state-of-the art information about brain injury treatment and therapies, which will foster maximal rehabilitation and a good quality of life. This conference is designed to benefit persons engaged in therapies with persons recovering from injury as well as caregivers and persons with brain injury. SPACE LIMITED

Target Audience: Persons with brain injury, families, health care professionals, nurses, speech pathologists, physicians, psychologists, program administrators, therapists, counselors, social workers, case managers, direct care staff, state agency personnel, insurance claims specialists, policy makers and all those interested in issues and trends in brain injury rehabilitation.

In 2009 we continued to fill the Exhibit Hall (123 exhibitors) and over 1,000 people attended each day of the conference. Comments from last years attendees included:

  • “Thanks for a great conference”
  • “Excellent topics & presentations”
  • “This was one of the best conferences I have been to, well arranged, great topics, wide range of people.”
  • “This 2008 conference was outstanding, the last several have been excellent. Great job!”

This conference is intended for adult professionals, brain injury survivors and family members. No one under the age of 18 will be admitted. You are welcome to bring children to the hotel; however, they must be supervised by another adult at all times. There are many attractions in the downtown Lansing area that the hotel can provide information on, but children will not be allowed in any of the conference events under any circumstance. If you have further questions, please contact our office at (800) 444-6443.
