Scholarships

We are pleased to be able to offer scholarships for people with brain injuries and family members who are experiencing financial hardship. You must be a current member of the Brain Injury Association of Michigan to qualify. If you are in our database, information will be emailed as it becomes available, in addition to the information being posted here.  For further details, contact Kathie Sell.

Continuing Education

The following is a list of certifying bodies the BIAMI typically submits applications for contact hour approval to:

  • Ohio Nurses Association - Accredited by the ANCC
  • Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission (CDMSC)
  • Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC)
  • Commission of Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC)
  • State of Michigan AFC
  • State of Michigan Social Work
  • American Speech Language Association (ASHA)

Please note that it is important to check-in and check-out at each session you attend or full credit will not be received for CEU’s.

All attendees have a barcode on their conference name badge and are scanned in and out of sessions and all CE records will be kept electronically. In order to earn CE credit you MUST get scanned in and out of each session. Evaluations and certificates can be obtained online post-conference using a user name and password which will be provided to you.

To earn full credit you must attend a minimum of 50 minutes of all 60 minute sessions and 80 minutes of all 90 minute sessions.
