This is a one day conference to focus on the complex legal issues facing people with brain injuries. Learn about the legal system and the protection and resources offers to individuals and their families living with brain injuries.
Reduced Rate Scholarships are available for brain injury survivors and their families who are in need of financial assistance. You must be a current BIAMI member to be eligible for a scholarship. Contact BIAMI for the scholarship form and information, 810-229-5880.

Attendant Care From a Legal and Medical Perspective
Learn how attendant care has evolved as an allowable expense and the many factors that go into a claim for attendant care, from both a medical and legal standpoint.

Home Modifications Under the No-Fault Act: A to Z
Maureen brings her nearly 20 years of experience specializing in Home Modification claims under the No-Fault Act to this presentation. She will walk you through the important foundation for home modification claims and help you avoid the pitfalls. There will be practical examples of common fact patterns, negotiation strategies and settlement agreements. Maureen H. Kinsella, J.D.
Session 3
The Fundamentals of Work Loss Claims
We will learn the fundamentals of work loss claims under the no-fault law. This will include standard work loss claims, claims for the temporarily unemployed and claims involving deceased claimants and their dependent survivors. Legal and practical aspects of claims will be discussed.
